Acknowledging the fine work of personnel of the Monterey County Public Works Department, (MCPWD) Monterey County Water Resources Agency (MCWRA) and the CD Forces in ensuring a good breach of the sandbar.
Sand Bar Management Procedures
Below is a short Powerpoint presentation of the various steps taken by the County to prepare the sandbar & breach the lagoon. It will take a few minutes because of the size to open on a dial-up connection.
