CSWRCB Letter to July 29th 2002 |
Steelhead eggsWe were pleased to learn in July that a final draft of the revised protocol was being reviewed by the Rancho San Carlos Partnership. (Read contents in bar) Since then we have received no further information from NMFS. On July 29th we received a letter from the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Water Rights in reference to the June 24 1988 Application # 29282 for the right to collect 250 acre-feet of storage in an existing onstream pit-type reservoir called Moore's Lake. This is the same lake that Sierra Club & CRSA included in their original complaints to the various agencies. This lake is situated on the Las Garzas that runs through the Rancho San Carlos Partnership properties. This application # 29282 concerns a water right that CSWRCB indicates is not a proven water right, although there maybe historical support for this contention. (Read contents in bar) If your interested in the whole story please visit : The Rancho San Carlos Ptn. & the Protocol concerning the operations of Moore's Lake Since April 2002 the above post has been on the CRWC & CRSA webpage. During this period 254 unique visitors on 39 other occasions people including agency personnel were recorded as reviewing the content. |
